Job summary

IPS Packaging & Automation in Rialto, CA seeks a dynamic Division Sales Manager to lead Outside Sales Representatives and grow packaging materials sales across the assigned market.

You will report to the Director of Sales, build and coach a high-performing team, develop strategic plans, manage forecasts, and coordinate with operations to ensure price, delivery, and quality commitments. Strong leadership and 5+ years B2B sales required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years B2B sales experience, preferably in packaging, industrial, or freight industries.
• 5+ years of experience managing people and territories.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Outside Sales Representatives to achieve peak performance and professional growth.
• Drive the growth of IPS business within the assigned market by identifying opportunities and expanding customer relationships.
• Recommend annual sales forecasts and plans, updating as needed to meet changing market conditions.
• Play a key role in achieving divisional sales and profit goals.
• Monitor weekly and monthly sales reports and performance metrics.
• Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategy, and customer presentations for key opportunities.
• Develop sales strategies, tactics, and techniques based on customer feedback and market trends.
• Maintain collaboration with operations teams, including purchasing and logistics, to meet quality, pricing, and delivery commitments.
• Assist in preparation of the annual company budget.
• Oversee divisional activities, analyzing performance and reporting variances as needed.
• Ride with sales representatives regularly to coach, mentor, and help deliver packaging solutions to customers.
