Sogeti is seeking a Divisional Practice Manager for the Texas Region, preferably in Houston, to lead sales, client engagement, and delivery across ACE. The role blends business development, executive consulting, and technical leadership to accelerate growth and client success.

The ideal leader has deep software engineering and cloud transformation expertise, with knowledge of AI-enabled development approaches and global delivery partnerships.

Division Practice Manager - Application, Cloud and Experience - Texas Region

About the job:

Sogeti is seeking a highly motivated Divisional Practice Manager (DPM), Houston area preferred, or Texas area to drive growth, talent development, client engagement, and execution within its Applications, Cloud & Experience (ACE) Practice. This leadership role combines business development, executive consulting, people leadership, and technical advisory expertise to accelerate divisional growth and client success.

The ideal candidate is a respected technology leader with deep expertise in modern software product engineering, a strong understanding of cloud transformation, and working knowledge of AI-enabled agentic software development approaches.

What you will do at Sogeti:

  • Own and contribute to divisional sales, revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive-level client stakeholders.
  • Drive portfolio saturation and growth across strategic accounts.
  • Participate directly in sales pursuits, solutioning, proposals, and executive presentations.
  • Lead practice growth, workforce planning, staffing, and capability development across the division.
  • Manage and develop practice personnel through a multi-level leadership structure.
  • Partner with offshore and global delivery organizations to maximize client outcomes.
  • Support strategic client engagements through advisory consulting and billable leadership activities.
  • Identify, communicate, and capitalize on emerging market trends and technology opportunities.
  • Collaborate with national ACE leadership to advance offerings, innovation, and go-to-market strategies.

What you will bring:

  • Strong background in modern software product engineering and application development.
  • Working knowledge of spec-driven, agentic-led development methodologies.
  • Understanding of Agentic SDLC concepts, governance, and delivery considerations.
  • Ability to advise clients on cloud strategy, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of modern cloud technologies across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
  • Familiarity with major cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Strong executive communication, consulting, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to align technology strategy with business outcomes.
  • 12+ years of experience in technology consulting, engineering leadership, cloud transformation, or related fields.
  • Proven success building executive-level client relationships.
  • Experience in achieving sales, revenue, and growth targets.
  • Experience leading large teams through hierarchical leadership structures.
  • Experience working with offshore and globally distributed delivery teams.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, solution sales support, and account growth.
  • Experience developing talent, enabling teams, and managing workforce capacity.
  • Strong understanding of market trends within software engineering, cloud, and AI-enabled delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Advanced degree and/or cloud certifications preferred.
  • Experience in practice leadership with service integrators or consulting services organizations.
  • Experience with AI-enabled software engineering and agentic development frameworks
