Sogeti is seeking a Divisional Practice Manager for its ACE (Applications, Cloud & Experience) practice in the San Francisco Bay area. You will lead growth, talent development, and client engagements while guiding technology strategy and delivery across cloud, AI-enabled software engineering, and modern development practices.

The role combines executive consulting, people leadership, and strategic advisory, with collaboration across offshore and global delivery teams to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Advanced degree and/or cloud certifications preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in technology consulting, engineering leadership, cloud transformation, or related fields.
  • Strong executive communication, consulting, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own and contribute to divisional sales, revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive-level client stakeholders.
  • Drive portfolio saturation and growth across strategic accounts.
  • Participate directly in sales pursuits, solutioning, proposals, and executive presentations.
  • Lead practice growth, workforce planning, staffing, and capability development across the division.
  • Manage and develop practice personnel through a multi-level leadership structure.
  • Partner with offshore and global delivery organizations to maximize client outcomes.
  • Support strategic client engagements through advisory consulting and billable leadership activities.
  • Identify, communicate, and capitalize on emerging market trends and technology opportunities.
  • Collaborate with national ACE leadership to advance offerings, innovation, and go-to-market strategies.

About the job:

Sogeti is seeking a highly motivated Divisional Practice Manager (DPM), San Francisco/Bay area preferred, to drive growth, talent development, client engagement, and execution within its Applications, Cloud & Experience (ACE) Practice. This leadership role combines business development, executive consulting, people leadership, and technical advisory expertise to accelerate divisional growth and client success.

The ideal candidate is a respected technology leader with deep expertise in modern software product engineering, a strong understanding of cloud transformation, and working knowledge of AI-enabled agentic software development approaches.

What you will do at Sogeti:
  • Own and contribute to divisional sales, revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive-level client stakeholders.

What you will bring:
  • Strong background in modern software product engineering and application development.
  • Working knowledge of spec-driven, agentic-led development methodologies.
  • Understanding of Agentic SDLC concepts, governance, and delivery considerations.
  • Ability to advise clients on cloud strategy, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of modern cloud technologies across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
  • Familiarity with major cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Strong executive communication, consulting, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to align technology strategy with business outcomes.
  • 12+ years of experience in technology consulting, engineering leadership, cloud transformation, or related fields.
  • Proven success building executive-level client relationships.
  • Experience in achieving sales, revenue, and growth targets.
  • Experience leading large teams through hierarchical leadership structures.
  • Experience working with offshore and globally distributed delivery teams.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, solution sales support, and account growth.
  • Experience developing talent, enabling teams, and managing workforce capacity.
  • Strong understanding of market trends within software engineering, cloud, and AI-enabled delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Advanced degree and/or cloud certifications preferred.
  • Experience in practice leadership with service integrators or consulting services organizations.
  • Experience with AI-enabled software engineering and agentic development frameworks
