Chicago Public Schools is seeking a Diverse Learners Teacher for Southwest Side assignments. Under the principal's supervision, you will instruct, monitor progress, track data, and manage classroom behavior in alignment with CPS frameworks.

You will collaborate with case managers and general education teachers to address learning and social needs, design inclusive instruction, and uphold high expectations while ensuring student safety and equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution.
• Completion of CPS online application and teaching profile at cps.edu/teach.
• Valid teaching license issued by the Illinois State Board of Education with LBS1 endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and monitor progress, track data, and manage discipline in assigned classes under principal supervision.
• Collaborate with case managers, counselors, and general education teachers to address instructional and social needs.
• Design engaging, equitable instruction aligned with CPS Framework for Teaching.
• Maintain safe, respectful classroom environment and uphold district expectations.
