District of Columbia Public Schools seeks a Coordinator, Compliance Risk and Safety to advance DCPS’ risk and safety initiatives within the Office of General Counsel. You will coordinate data platforms, collaborate with schools and central services, analyze trends, and help implement corrective actions across the district.

Travel across DC Public Schools to conduct inspections and ensure MOA/MOU compliance.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of related work experience.
Master's degree preferred.
Experience in the education sector a plus.
Experience with OCTO Quickbase, SharePoint, and web-based applications preferred.
Analytical skills essential.
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
Attention to detail in a demanding environment.
Prior experience in risk management, safety, or compliance a plus.

Mansioni

Data Management and Digital Platform Coordination: Coordinate data collection efforts and track digital platforms such as Quickbase, SharePoint, and various web applications.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Develop, liaise, and maintain effective partnerships with various stakeholders across schools and Central Services.
Trend Analysis and Recommendations: Identify patterns/trends in data and advise improvements; travel district-wide for safety/compliance visits.
System Development for Improvement: Maintain systems to improve risk management efficiency and monitor MOA/MOU compliance.
Compliance and Safety: Provide technical support on compliance, risk, and safety activities; ensure timely corrective actions and agency reporting.
