District of Columbia Public Schools is seeking a Coordinator, Monitoring and Program Support to advance compliance with federal mandates and ensure effective program administration across DCPS schools and eligible private students.

The role requires managing compliance workstreams, validating documentation, and providing technical guidance to school leaders while coordinating with DCPS partners to strengthen processes and accountability. Travel within the Washington Metropolitan Area is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two to four years of related work experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in education, federal programs or grants, compliance monitoring, program administration, student eligibility, inventory oversight, data analysis, or a related field strongly preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to translate complex requirements into practical guidance.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to program and school sites within the Washington Metropolitan Area.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates assigned MPS compliance workstreams and recurring monitoring activities in accordance with federal program requirements and established team procedures.
• Conducts federal program compliance monitoring for public and private schools; reviews required documentation, identifies gaps, documents findings, and follows up on corrective actions.
• Reviews student and school eligibility information for federally funded services; supports student ranking, residency, participation, Title I, and Title III eligibility processes.
• Maintains accurate, audit-ready program compliance records across applicable systems and trackers; verifies required documentation and supports document retention.
• Collects, validates, and analyzes program, school, and student data to identify compliance issues, support monitoring, and prepare required reports.
