Job summary

Puget Sound Educational Service District is seeking an experienced Risk Services Consultant to lead workplace safety and pre-loss initiatives across member school districts. You will investigate incidents, develop training, and deliver risk control services to promote a culture of safety and equity.

Collaboration with internal and external partners is essential to reduce injuries and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business/risk management or related field.
• Experience providing workplace safety and loss control services.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments of facilities and incidents to identify safety risks.
• Develop risk reduction plans with districts to mitigate exposure.
• Deliver risk reduction training on injury prevention, ergonomics, IAQ, and more.
• Maintain records to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Provide risk management advice based on incident trends and site evaluations.
• Research laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
