Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Cleveland is seeking a Director of Youth Development Programs to lead staff training, curriculum development, and program quality across youth services. You will monitor outcomes, report progress, and collaborate with schools and community partners to advance SEL and career readiness goals.

Responsibilities include leading curriculum design, assessment, and staff development while ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality measures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience creating and implementing school-age curriculum with successful outcomes.
• 5+ years of leadership in long-term planning, designing and implementing school-age programs (SUTQ/NAEYC/QRIS).
• CPR and First Aid certification and Safety training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop youth development staff and ensure quality programming standards.
• Monitor and report program outcomes against performance goals with data.
• Collaborate with partners and schools to align curricula and objectives.
• Lead curriculum development, assessment, and program design for school-age youth.
• Provide on-site consultation and feedback to staff on cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral challenges.
