Job summary

The State of West Virginia invites applications for a Transportation Program Manager 1. This exempt, at-will position reports to the WV Division of Multi-Modal Transportation and oversees the development and execution of division-wide programs and projects.

Responsibilities include managing teams, meeting milestones, and ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery. Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and relevant experience; substitutions may apply for education or experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Substitution: Four (4) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience may substitute for the required training/education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and execution of division/district program(s) and/or project(s).
• Manages teams and ensures milestones are met, on time and within budget.
• Liaises between project staff and key stakeholders; coordinates reporting.
