Job summary

Family Dollar in Miami, FL is seeking a District Manager to lead at least 15 store teams across the district. You will drive store profitability, customer service, safety, and compliance while overseeing merchandising, operations, and expense control.

You will recruit, hire, and develop store managers, coach leaders, promote teamwork, and travel up to 50% to support operations district-wide. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required; multi-store retail experience is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License is required
• At least 5 years retail experience with at least 2 years of multi-store experience is required
• Strong leadership and motivational skills along with the ability to build an effective team is required
• Ability to analyze, organize and present information and focus on results is required
• Strong business acumen and communication skill are required
• Human resources and asset protection skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Process management skills
• Ability to work in Microsoft Office is required
• Ability to regularly lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height is required
• Ability to handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting

• Champion a customer-first mindset across the district.
• Travel up to 50% to support and oversee operations across the district
