Job summary

MWH Constructors is seeking a District Scheduling Manager for large water and wastewater projects in Texas. This full-time, site-based position in Austin will lead scheduling efforts, develop master schedules, monitor progress, and drive on-time delivery with close collaboration across project teams.

Qualifications include 12+ years in scheduling, experience with baselines and cost/resource loading, and proficiency with CM software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field; or combination of education and experience.
• Experience scheduling projects over $300 million.
• 12+ years sequencing, productivity and scheduling; detailed schedules.
• Experience with baseline schedules, subcontractor integration and audits.
• Experience with Cost and Resource loaded schedules.
• Proficient with construction management software and strong communication, customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain master project schedules with cost and resource loading.
• On-site full-time role in Austin, TX.
• Plan pre-construction, construction, startup and commissioning activities.
• Analyze survey data, drawings, and specifications.
• Estimate durations, equipment, and labor needs.
• Identify schedule risks and implement mitigations.
• Monitor and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
• Communicate schedule changes to stakeholders and justify actions.
• Prepare weekly updates and monthly reports.
• Analyze scheduling data for process improvements.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to schedulers.
• Manage and develop junior project schedulers.
• Present on bid proposals, sequences, changes and delays.
• Review changes for impact and prepare notices.
• Prepare Time Impact Analyses and related reports.
• Prepare and manage cost/resource loaded schedules for invoicing.
• Contribute to improved scheduling practices at MWH.
