Job summary

McKee Utility Contractors is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a Texas-based Austin project from award through closeout. You will oversee budget, schedule, subcontractor coordination, procurement, documentation, safety, and client communications while mentoring Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.

The role requires travel to the project site, strong leadership, and a proven track record in delivering complex water/wastewater projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 4–7 years of construction PM experience in water/wastewater or equivalent.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and cost tracking.
• Strong ability to manage budgets, schedules, and contract documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budget, schedule, scope, and financial performance.
• Track WIP projections, costs, commitments, billings, and forecasts to completion.
• Coordinate field execution with Operations and project leadership.
• Develop and monitor project schedules with Primavera P6.
