Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking a District Sales Manager to hire and develop a sales team and drive growth in the assigned territory. The role focuses on building a capable team, cultivating customer relationships, and executing strategic plans to achieve sales objectives in the Southern California region.

The position includes a compensation plan with base salary plus bonus, mileage and cell phone reimbursements, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in hiring, training and/or managing individuals and teams.
• Willingness to travel within the territory and attend company meetings.
• Experience with employment agreements or familiarity with employment terms.

Responsibilities

• Attract Sales Talent to build a successful team.
• Develop sales associates to grow knowledge, experience, and earnings.
• Cultivate relationships with customers in the designated territory to understand needs and opportunities.
• Plan weekly visits to prioritize customer stops and territory growth.
• Meet or exceed sales quotas following company programs and training workshops.
• Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities and report savings to customers.
