Job summary

McKee Foods is seeking a District Sales Representative to drive customer development and manage relations with independent distributors and retailers across the west Texas district, from Odessa/Midland to Presidio and beyond.

You will support distributors, grow snack cake sales, and help build a strong, loyal channel within a privately held, family-owned company known for integrity and stability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of account management or sales leadership in food/beverage or grocery.
• District covers west Texas Odessa/Midland area; living in district or willing to relocate.
• Ability to work from home and maintain a reliable vehicle; clear driving record.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with independent distributors through sales support.
• Recruit and appoint quality distributors.
• Provide orientation to new distributors.
• Serve as liaison between McKee Foods and distributors.
• Develop good relationships with retailers in the district.
• Gain authorizations for products, space, and promotions with retailers.
• Communicate with distributors regularly to drive sales growth.
• Encourage/distributors to develop business plans and roadmaps.
• Operate a company vehicle as part of district coverage.
• Communicate job information to field staff and distributors.
• Maintain personal safety and safety of products.
