Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a District Sales Manager. You will review sales metrics, train and coach Account Managers, and lead the team to pursue opportunities with strong sales potential.

The role requires spending substantial time with field managers to drive profitable business results. This position typically requires 7+ years in a related field, a bachelor’s degree, and an acceptable motor vehicle record for operating a company or personal vehicle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university.
• 10+ years industry sales experience preferred.
• 5+ years experience with area customer base preferred.
• Strong sales management background and recruiting experience.
• Product knowledge and ability to work cross functionally.
• Leadership and coaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews key sales metrics such as sales growth, category penetration & safety, and gross profit percentage.
• Leads, engages, and inspires team to focus on high-potential opportunities; provides regular feedback.
• Spends at least 4 days a week with Account Managers.
• Trains and provides coaching of Account Managers in effective selling processes.
• Seeks customer feedback and shares it with leadership to improve performance.
• Conducts monthly one-on-one accountability sales reviews with account managers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 7+ years of experience in a related field.
• Maintains an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and operates a company or personal vehicle as needed.
