Job summary

Nucor Buildings Group is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead sales across the assigned territory in Mississippi and surrounding states. The DSM will build strong customer relationships, interpret drawings and specifications, and develop proposals to drive new business while collaborating with Sales, Production and Technical teams.

This role requires extensive overnight travel weekly and relocation to the sales territory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must live in, or be willing to relocate to, the assigned territory.
• 3–5 years of territory sales experience managing customer relationships.
• 3–5 years of construction-industry experience in pre-engineered buildings or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Collaborate with customers and builders to interpret construction drawings and product specifications.
• Develop proposals and pricing strategies to close new business.
• Applies market knowledge to anticipate customer needs and industry trends.
• Maintaining alignment with sales goals and metrics.
• Proactively plan and manage own schedule.
