Job summary

McKee Foods, the maker of Little Debbie® snacks, seeks a District Sales Representative to drive sales in assigned districts and collaborate with independent wholesale distributors and retailers. You will cultivate relationships, motivate wholesalers, and represent the brand in the marketplace.

The role requires 3+ years in sales, strong communication, and willingness to travel extensively within and beyond the district. A college degree in business is preferred; a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one to two years of post-high school education or equivalent experience.
• Three years of retail management or sales experience.
• Experience in establishing strong business relationships.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and mobile technology.

Responsibilities

• Foster sales growth through collaboration with independent wholesale distributors and retailers.
• Cultivate strong business relationships with distributors and retailers.
• Act as a liaison between McKee Foods, wholesale independent distributors, and retailers.
• Motivate existing wholesalers to expand sales.
• Recruit and appoint competent candidates to distributorships.
• Provide orientation for new distributors and communicate best business practices.
• Manage and develop a company sales territory as necessary.
• Ensure daily operation and maintenance of a company vehicle.
• Adhere to established business conduct practices.
• Maintain regular communication with supervision.
• Complete reports and assignments in a timely manner.
• Temporary and occasional operation of an open location.
• Serve as a professional representative of McKee Foods in the marketplace.
