Job summary

Dollar General seeks an Area Manager to plan and lead the activities of all stores within the assigned area, with full profit and loss responsibility and alignment to company objectives.

You will lead store teams, ensure superior customer service, manage inventory and merchandising, drive area sales, and develop talent through recruitment and training across multiple locations. Willingness to travel weekly in a company vehicle is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Four+ years retail management experience with progressively more responsibility and full P&L responsibility.
• Big-box retail management and/or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to manage multi-unit operations and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams by upholding the company's mission and values.
• Ensure superior customer service across all stores in the area.
• Drive area sales growth to meet or exceed targets.
• Effectively manage inventory, merchandising, and store presentation.
