Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Leader, Rx to lead about 20 retail pharmacies with ~200 staff, ensuring patient safety and quality while growing business through clinical services and acquisitions.

As a licensed Pharmacist, you will coach Pharmacy Managers, set district priorities, oversee staffing, training, and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with field leadership to deliver exceptional patient care across communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Active Pharmacist license required for all states in District.
• 5+ years as a practicing Pharmacist, ideally within a retail setting.
• 3+ years of experience leading others.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Strong personal integrity and judgment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate the market’s Pharmacist talent pipeline and develop interns, Float and Staff Pharmacists, and Pharmacy Managers.
• Manage district succession plans and promote district‑level staffing of pharmacies.
• Oversee training programs and ensure timely completion by colleagues.
• Set staffing, scheduling and timely payments across the market Pharmacists.
• Create a culture of recognition, empowerment, development and inclusion.
• Deliver performance reviews and targeted coaching for Pharmacy Managers.
• Develop business plans to deliver on P&L, inventory and payroll metrics.
• Drive market growth through acquisitions, file buys and remodels.
• Ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance across pharmacies.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
