Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a District Leader, Rx to oversee clinical and business excellence across a market of ~20 retail pharmacies with ~200 staff. You will coach Pharmacy Managers, drive patient care, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and grow the business through new stores, acquisitions and program launches.
The role requires a licensed pharmacist, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering results in a retail pharmacy environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Active Pharmacist license required for all states in District.
- 5+ years as a practicing Pharmacist, ideally retail.
- 3+ years of experience leading others.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Pharmacy Managers and technicians across ~20 retail pharmacies.
- Set and execute market goals, staffing, and programming to drive district performance.
- Oversee patient safety, regulatory compliance and incident investigations.
- Drive portfolio growth through acquisitions, new stores and remodels.
- Coach managers to improve workflow, inventory, and patient care metrics.
- Ensure readiness for inventories, audits and policy compliance.
