Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Leader, Rx to oversee approximately 20 retail pharmacies and a ~200 headcount market. You will coach and develop Pharmacy Managers, drive clinical services, and ensure safe operations across the district.

You will lead talent development, set priorities, and partner with store leadership to grow market performance while ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Active Pharmacist license required for all states in the District.
• Internal candidates must be accepted into the EL program.
• 5+ years as a practicing Pharmacist, ideally within a retail setting.
• 3+ years of experience leading others.
• Demonstrated ability to set and meet performance goals.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration to achieve goals.
• Strong time management skills with multiple deliverables on staggered deadlines.
• Strong personal integrity and judgment; handling sensitive matters.
• Strong communication skills in writing and speech.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain a healthy Pharmacist talent pipeline across the district.
• Set the District talent agenda for hourly staff and succession planning.
• Set and communicate District priorities aligned with Corporate directions.
• Conduct regular check-ins with Pharmacy Managers to track progress.
• Improve District-level pharmacy performance measures through coaching.
• Oversee patient safety and regulatory oversight.
• Grow the business through acquisitions, file buys, new stores, and remodels.
