Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a district pharmacy leader to supervise operations across assigned stores, ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and patient care standards while driving profitability and growth.

The role includes direct supervision of Pharmacy Managers, staff scheduling, and payroll/cost management, with a focus on quality clinical care and an excellent patient experience. Travel and flexible scheduling are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• 3 years of retail pharmacy management experience.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the assigned geography, or willing and able to obtain state licensure within 6 months of position start date.
• Willing to obtain Immunization Certification within 6 months of hire date.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willing to travel up to/at least 80% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Responsibilities

• Supervise retail pharmacy operations within the assigned district and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and patient care standards.
• Drive pharmacy profitability and growth through review, action planning, and implementation of initiatives.
• Directly supervise Pharmacy Managers, Pharmacy Schedulers, and staff, managing performance and talent development.
