Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a District Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee retail pharmacy operations across a geographic district, ensuring compliant, patient-centered care and profitability. You will supervise Pharmacy Managers and staff, drive quality initiatives, and manage talent recruitment and development.

Responsibilities include cost control, forecasting, and partnering with leadership to implement improvements in clinical quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an accredited program.
3 years of retail pharmacy management experience.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the assigned geography, or willing and able to obtain state licensure within 6 months of position start date.
Willingness to obtain Immunization Certification within 6 months of hire date.
Valid driver's license.
Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
Willing to travel up to/at least 80% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Responsibilities

Oversee district pharmacy operations and supervise Pharmacy Managers, Schedulers and staff.
Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, agreements and company policies; manage patient care quality.
Drive profitability and growth through analysis and action planning.
Lead recruitment, development, retention and performance of pharmacy staff.
Ensure timely scheduling, payroll management and cost control across the district.
