Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacy scheduling gaps across a district while supporting the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader. You will help manage operations, ensure safe dispensing, and contribute to patient care in CVS stores.

You will travel within the district to fill shifts, supervise pharmacy staff, and uphold compliance, quality, and customer service standards, including administering immunizations where permissible and supporting overall patient

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled; acting as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Assist in immunization administration and advising patients as part of clinical care.
• Maintain inventory control, including handling cold chain products and ensuring compliance with regulations.
