Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. You will help ensure safe dispensing, patient counseling, and immunizations while maintaining high quality patient care.

You will travel within the district to fill shifts, assist the Pharmacy Manager, and support operations and patient outcomes. Strong clinical skills and adherence to CVS policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores within the district.
• Support pharmacy teams under the Pharmacy Manager's direction.
• Assist with safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization practices.
• Oversee pharmacy workflow and ensure safety guardrails at all workstations.
• Provide clinical care such as testing and prescribing where permitted.
