Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. You will operate under the Pharmacy Manager and DL, ensuring safe dispensing, immunizations, and patient care.

This part-time role requires travel within a reasonable radius, with duties including overseeing pharmacy workflow, coaching staff, and maintaining regulatory compliance while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps by traveling within the district as required.
• Support the pharmacy team and act as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment following workflow procedures.
• Contribute to patient care by immunizing and counseling as applicable within regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with federal/state laws, CVS Health policies and privacy standards.
