Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district. You will help manage pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing, immunizations, and effective patient care while traveling as required.

You will support district leadership, maintain compliance, and coach staff to uphold CVS Health’s standards of quality and safety across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support district pharmacy teams.
• Oversee safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and follow workflow procedures.
• Act as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts when needed.
• Deliver immunizations and coaching to pharmacy staff to improve patient care.
• Support inventory management with emphasis on cold chain products.
