Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores within the district. You will support pharmacy teams, ensure safe dispensing, provide counseling and immunizations, and manage day-to-day duties in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager. The role requires travel and flexibility, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams under supervision.
• Ensure safe and accurate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Manage day-to-day duties when serving as the pharmacist-on-duty.
• Help resolve insurance and medication issues and support inventory management.
