Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to help cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in a district. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, supervise staff, and ensure safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization services.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing.
• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and assist Pharmacy Manager.
• Assist safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and counseling.
• Supervise pharmacy staff and support immunization efforts.
• Help manage pharmacy inventory and protect cold chain.
• Ensure compliance with laws, CVS policies, and privacy considerations.
• Support pharmacist-delivered clinical care (testing/prescribing where permissible).
• Contribute to a collaborative patient experience and safe operations.
