Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to support pharmacy teams across stores within a district. You will cover pharmacist scheduling gaps, act as a proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during shifts, and help oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and patient care.

The DSP role requires travel within the district, excellent patient service, and a commitment to CVS Health values, safety, and quality.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist in bench shifts and cover pharmacist scheduling gaps as needed.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient counseling.
