Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to support pharmacy operations across a district, covering scheduling gaps and assisting the Pharmacy Manager with daily duties in stores within the district.

You will travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing, ensure safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations, while maintaining CVS policies and patient safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on tasks, pivot between tasks, and ensure prescription labeling accuracy.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and work with the pharmacy team to support patients.
• Assist with immunizations and support inventory management, including cold chain protection.
• Perform Pharmacy Manager duties when serving as the primary pharmacist on duty.
