Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to help cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support store pharmacy teams across the district. You will travel within the district, act as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts, and ensure safe, accurate dispensing and patient care.

You will lead by example, coach staff on immunization, counseling, and workflow procedures while upholding CVS Health policies and regulatory requirements to safeguard patient safety and promote quality

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient reactions.
• Communication Skills: interact with patients and colleagues using verbal and written language.
• Mathematical Reasoning: use math to determine prescription quantities, days’ supply, and bottle counts.
• Problem Resolution: identify challenging patient interactions and choose the best course of action.
