Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores within the district, under the Pharmacy Manager’s direction. You will support pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing, and help deliver immunizations and clinical services where permissible.

You will travel within a reasonable radius, maintain regulatory compliance, mentor pharmacy staff, and help improve patient care while upholding CVS Health standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist shifts across the district as scheduled by the District Performance Coordinator (DPC).
• Oversee pharmacy operations and serve as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment following workflow procedures.
• Support immunization delivery and patient counseling as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state laws, CVS Health policies, and safety standards.
