Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. You will operate under the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader, ensuring safe dispensing and high-quality patient care.

You will travel within the district, support immunizations, oversee workflow, and mentor staff while staying compliant with CVS policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled; oversee pharmacy operations.
• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps under the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient counseling.
• Lead and coach pharmacy staff to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Support immunization services and COVID/Flu vaccination efforts where permissible.
• Manage inventory with focus on cold chain product protection and loss prevention.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and CVS Health policies.
