Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores within a district, reporting to the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader. You will help manage the pharmacy team, oversee patient care, and ensure safe dispensing practices in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will travel to support market staffing, offer immunizations, and guide technicians while maintaining regulatory compliance and patient privacy.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Pharmacist license in the state where the Store is located.
• Must have an active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require
• Serve as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts when needed
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures
• Dispenser duties when acting as primary pharmacist on duty
• Provide immunizations and coaching to technicians to immunize
• Assist with pharmacy inventory management, with focus on cold chain
