CVS Health, a leading pharmacy-led health care company, seeks a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps across the district and to support pharmacy teams under the Pharmacy Manager. You will travel within the district, oversee pharmacy operations, and help ensure safe, patient-centered care at CVS Health locations.

The role emphasizes immunizations, clinical care where permissible, and collaboration with the patient’s healthcare team, with a focus on maintaining safe dispensing

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) required.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled; overseeing the pharmacy and serving as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures.
• Assists with immunizations and clinical care where permissible; coach pharmacy team.
• Manage inventory and protect cold chain; ensure patient safety and quality service.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive team dynamic and flexible scheduling to meet business needs.
