Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to cover pharmacist shifts across stores within the district, collaborating with the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader to support operations and patient care. You will ensure safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization services while upholding CVS Health policies and regulatory standards.

The role requires travel within the district, regular attendance including nights and weekends, and an active Pharmacist License in the state.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts and overseeing the pharmacy as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager.
• Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Contributing to positive patient experiences by coaching the pharmacy team to deliver compassionate care.
