Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps across stores within the district. The role involves ensuring safe and accurate dispensing, immunizations, and patient counseling while traveling to pharmacies as scheduled by leadership.

You will support the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader in overseeing pharmacy operations, coaching the team, and maintaining high patient care standards, including immunizations and clinical services where allowed.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Ensure prescription information accuracy and safe dispensing practices.
• Support patient health outcomes through pharmacist-delivered clinical care where permissible.
