Job summary

CVS Health in the United States seeks a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across multiple stores. You will support pharmacy teams, manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, and ensure safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations within the district.

You will travel to stores, cover shifts, and work under the Pharmacy Manager's direction to maintain high standards of patient care and operational excellence across the district.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
• Ensure prescription information and labeling accuracy to protect patient safety.
• Assist with immunizations and coaching pharmacy technicians as needed.
• Support inventory management with emphasis on cold chain protection.
