Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. This part-time role focuses on maintaining safe dispensing, counseling patients, and immunizing where permissible, with responsibilities including scheduling coverage and acting as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy when needed.

You will travel within the district to cover shifts, oversee workflow, protect cold chain products, and contribute to a patient-centered care team.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Liv e supportive and oversight by acting as a Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts and covering scheduling gaps.
• Assist in safe and accurate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Maintain patient safety through accurate prescription labeling and follow pharmacy workflow procedures.
• Engage with the pharmacy team to resolve insurance and medication issues and improve patient outcomes.
