Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists (DSPs) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district. You will help manage pharmacy teams, ensure safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization services, and act as a proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during shifts.

Travel within a reasonable radius is required, with regular weekend attendance and the ability to complete required trainings.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Support the Pharmacy Manager and oversee pharmacy operations as proxy during shifts.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment following workflow procedures.
• Provide immunizations and counseling to patients.
• Maintain inventory and protect cold chain products.
• Assist with training and supporting pharmacy technicians and staff.
