Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps within the district, under the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader. The DSP will support pharmacy teams across stores, ensure safe dispensing and patient care, and may assume manager duties when on duty.

The role requires travel within a reasonable radius, a valid pharmacist license in the state, and the ability to immunize and provide clinical services where permissible, while delivering compassionate

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assuming Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when serving as the only or primary pharmacist-on-duty.
• Provide clinical care such as testing and prescribing services where permissible; empower the pharmacy team to deliver holistic care.
