Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to help cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district, reporting to the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader. You will support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, high-quality care while traveling as needed.

You will oversee pharmacy operations, ensure compliance with workflows, and coach staff to provide compassionate patient care, immunizations, and accurate dispensing while maintaining patient privacy and safety.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled by the DPC and support pharmacy teams.
• Assist with managing pharmacy operations and scheduling as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy when needed.
• Contribute to safe and accurate dispensing, patient counseling and immunization services.
