Job summary

Impact Fire Services, LLC is seeking a District Payroll Coordinator to manage district payroll processing, reimbursements, and related employee communications. You will ensure on-time, accurate pay in line with company guidance and support district HR initiatives across multiple regions.

You will handle high-volume weekly adjustments, code hours to projects for job costing, assist with time-tracking migrations, respond to payroll inquiries, and prepare reports for audits and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years payroll processing experience.
• Experience with integrated payroll systems (e.g., Ultipro/UKG, Workday, ADP, Dayforce, Paylocity).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and Excel.
• Professional communication skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume workload with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process District payroll and related reimbursements, with a high volume of weekly adjustments, ensuring accurate time imports, calculations and payouts.
• Weekly payroll review, reconciliation and authorization.
• Code hours to projects for field employees to track job costs in support of District needs.
• Assist with migration of existing time tracking system to new time tracking systems (ADP/Dayforce/Wensoft).
• Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll discrepancies for owed pay including pay, deductions, garnishments, reimbursements.
• Generate District payroll data and compensation reports for required audits (worker’s compensation, internal/external audits, and finance/accounting).
• Support HR Regional/District level initiatives (Leave of Absences, Dayforce access, onboarding, attendance, and final pay processing).
• Partner with HR regional team to drive District communication and follow-up for Annual Benefit enrollment and training.
