Impact Fire Services seeks a District Payroll Coordinator to manage all payroll functions across its 52+ district offices. You will ensure timely processing, accurate reimbursements, and effective support to employees and management on payroll-related needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years payroll processing experience.
• Experience with integrated payroll systems (Ultipro/UKG, Workday, ADP, Dayforce, Paylocity, etc.).
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and Excel.
• Professional conduct, excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process District payroll and related reimbursements with high weekly adjustments.
• Weekly payroll review, reconciliation and authorization.
• Code hours to projects to track job costs for districts.
• Assist with migration of time tracking systems (ADP/Dayforce/Wensoft).
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies and deductions.
• Generate payroll data and reports for audits (workers’ comp, internal/external audits).
• Support HR initiatives at district/region level (Leave of Absences, onboarding, Dayforce processes).
• Collaborate with HR to drive district communications on benefits, training, and onboarding.
