Job summary

FirstKey Homes in Indianapolis seeks an Assistant District Operations Director to support the District Operations Director in overseeing the district portfolio. You will monitor and evaluate ongoing activities to ensure resident satisfaction and oversee rent collection, inquiries, escalations, and service issue resolution.

The role requires 5+ years in property management with Section 8 compliance, 3+ years of leadership, and the ability to obtain a Real Estate License within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of progressive property management experience, including Section 8 compliance
• 3+ years of proven management experience leading teams
• Valid driver's license; ability to obtain Real Estate License within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships with residents and address issues to maintain positive experiences
• Oversee financial reporting and performance metrics for the market
• Assist in managing revenue targets related to service, collections, and retention
• Provide leadership to develop and implement team strategies and ensure policy adherence
• Ensure compliance with municipal, local, and state requirements including Housing Choice Voucher regulations
• Maintain active real estate license compliance requirements
