Job summary

Blank Street in New York City is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to grow our people and business across multiple stores. You will hire, coach, and develop General Managers, lead labor and scheduling, and partner with HQ to launch new initiatives while delivering exceptional hospitality and a best-in-class customer experience.

If you thrive in a fast-paced, scalable food and beverage brand and are ready to travel between stores, this is your role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, retail, or another fast-growing consumer business.
• Experience leading multiple locations and developing managers.
• Strong operational, financial, and business acumen.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative, hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach, make decisions, and lead through change.

Responsibilities

• Build and coach a high-performing team of General Managers.
• Oversee labor planning, scheduling, and staffing across districts.
• Maintain operational excellence, food safety, cleanliness, and brand standards.
• Partner with HQ teams to implement new initiatives, launches, and operational improvements.
• Lead through change with clarity, urgency, and empathy in a fast-paced, growing business.
