Job summary

O’Neal Steel is seeking a District Operations Specialist for our Waterloo, IA facility. You will support daily district operations including receiving, inventory control, shop floor activities, document retention, and communication with sales and supply chain teams.

Responsibilities include verifying shipments, routing inbound goods, maintaining inventory locations, and performing stock checks. 2+ years of warehouse experience and MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of warehouse operations experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy of incoming shipments against bills of lading and maintain records.
• Receive inbound shipments and route goods to proper bays.
• Maintain and update inventory locations and pick zones.
• Perform stock checks and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate with sales and purchasing teams for timely information.
• Assist with local vendor management and safety/quality records.
