Job summary

O'Neal Steel is seeking a District Operations Specialist at our Waterloo, IA facility. You will support district operations with daily tasks including receiving, inventory control, shop floor activities, documentation, and communication with sales and supply chain teams.

Responsibilities include verifying shipments against bills of lading, routing inbound goods, maintaining inventory locations, and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of warehouse operations experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy of incoming shipments against bill of ladings and maintain records of goods received.
• Reject damaged or incorrect goods or materials and take proper steps to adjust for damages or shortages.
• Receive inbound shuttles and route incoming goods to proper bays.
• Monitor receiving reports to ensure accuracy and coordination with purchased material.
• Maintain and update inventory locations and pick zones.
• Assist with local vendor management and safety records as required.
