Job summary

Ashley Furniture Co. is seeking a seasoned field sales/training leader to manage licensee relationships across multiple markets.

You will drive training, merchandising, program implementation, and sales initiatives while traveling extensively to support new openings and ongoing licensee performance. The role demands 3–5 years in retail sales or distribution, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong presentation, leadership, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or related field.
• 3–5 years of retail sales and sales management or distribution center experience, preferably in furniture retail.
• Willingness to travel 80%.
• Ability to facilitate training and/or presentations to groups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing visits to support licensees in training, merchandising, and product assortments.
• Support licensee new store openings and onboarding.
• Participate in operational strategy meetings and implement best practices.
• Monitor brand standards and licensee compliance to protect brand equity.
• Foster licensee communications and resolve issues.
• Attend Markets to introduce new products and programs; participate in quarterly licensee sales meetings.
• Collaborate with team members and engage in problem areas as needed.
• Promote Ashley brand through community involvement and events.
